The greatest energy risk facing society today may lie in having insufficient secure supplies of affordable energy to power economic growth. This first Global Energy Systems Conference will engage stakeholders in informed presentations and discussions on the transitioning global energy system, provided by leading academic, industry and government experts.To integrate the key issues relevant to companies, organisations and public authorities, this conference will cover five energy‐related themes in plenary session format. It will also feature debates tackling topical controversies, as well as poster sessions covering the latest research in the field.
Unfortunately there will be no official ASPO conference this year, but as an alternative we recommend the GES conference 26-28 June 2013 in Edinburgh UK, which is supported by ASPO. ASPO meeting for members will be held in conjunction with this conference as usual.
